It's such a special day! Not only is it World Cardmaking Day (and there's lots of fun stuff (like challenges & chats) going on to celebrate in the forums of both Cornish Heritage Farms and Splitcoaststampers), it's also time for another Just For Fun challenge between me and my buddy, Michele. This month, I selected some fabulous Luxe patterned paper I found at a great scrapbook store in Michigan (The Scrapbook Zone, for those of you who find yourself in that former swing state : ) ). It's from Luxe's Hoodie Line and it's called 'Mischa' -- I just love that color! I shipped it off to Michele, and once she heard it was on it's way, she selected the stamp: Bikababeabella by Stamping Bella. Here's what I came up with:
Bella is obviously a very skillful rider, considering that she's going up a slight hill but can still manage to make her hawg pop-a-wheely. Is there anything the Bellas can't do while simultaneously looking glamorous? *sigh* I wanna be like them! For the sentiment, I went for a "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" vibe, using an old favorite from A Muse.
Be sure to visit Michele -- I'm sure she's put something together that will make you want put on a dew rag and hit the road! She's very persuasive that way, you know.
I'll be back in a jiffy with my sample for Jen's Sketch For You To Try. That's right! In honor of WCD (not to be confused with WWCD -- What Would Carole Do? -- Heaven help you should you ever find yourself asking that question for guidance...), I'm going to make TWO cards and TWO posts for your blurfing pleasure! Lucky, lucky you!
Supplies used:
Stamps: Bikababeabella by Stamping Bella; sentiment by A Muse
Paper: Old Olive (SU!), GP White, Prismatics Intense Teal, Patterned Paper by Luxe (Mischa from the Hoodie line)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Nestabilities, foam booster and ribbon from Jody Morrow shares, Copic Sketch & Spica markers, White paint Sharpie

This is fabulous, Carole! Love how you worked in the yellow and olive! Can't wait for our next challenge!! :)

Don't you just love The Scrapbook Zone!!!! I try to only go there once a month because I can get into some serious damage there! LOL I at least try to pop in there to get the Stamp of the month which is always great and cheap! Glad you got a chance to check it out when you were in town!:D
