I have to confess, every time I see the name -- Hooga Booga -- of this cute new MFT Presents set, I think to myself 'Hug a Booger.' I know it's based on a little song that Kim (MFT's owner) made up for her daughter, but still: Hug a Booger! So just to get it out of my system, here's my sample for Jen's Sketch For You to Try for this week...
The little booger was colored with Copics and his outfit was paper pieced with patterned paper from MFT's Summer Paper Pack. I masked the booger, clouds and grass, then airbrushed the sky. Then sentiment was created using my old Karen Foster Snap Stamps.
Be sure to stop by Jen's blog for the sketch, and to see what she and March Guest Designer Jenn Dierks have come up with for your blurfing pleasure. You'll also want to visit the blogs of my SFYTT Sisters for what I know will be a scrumptious smorgasbord of eye candy:
Susan Liles,
Amy Rohl,
Kelly Lunceford , and
Amy Sheffer
We'd love for you to come play with us and to see your interpretation of the sketch, so if you upload it to your SCS gallery, be sure to use 'SFYTT' as one of your keywords so we can give pile on the praise! I'd rather have a pile of praise than a pile of boogers any day, wouldn't you?!
Nothing too exciting going on here this weekend. Truman has his first soccer game of the season at noon today, and then I have a MOUNTAIN of laundry to tackle. Sean left this morning for a wedding in Dallas, and will be flying to meet Carter and I in St. Louis tomorrow night. (Anyone want to ride 5.5 hours in the car with my 4 year old and I tomorrow afternoon?! No? Dang. I don't blame you, though.) On Monday morning, Carter has his 4 month post-operative check-up regarding the neurosurgery he had in November. Wish us luck!
I hope your weekend is booger-free and full of fun!
Supplies used:
Stamps: Hooga Booga by MFT Presents, Karen Foster Snap Stamps

You crack me up!! Now these will forever be "Hug a Boogers" I wonder how Kim will feel about everyone calling her creations "Boogers"
That's just so wrong! Wrong,... but funny!
