This past TCP Tuesday's challenge was a stamp challenge to use one of the images from the 'Havin' a Pow Wow' set (see this week's Hipster Hostess With the Mostess, Susan's post if you want to play), and a bunch of my fellow Cat Packers decided to play with Leigh's boyfriend, Ronnie. I just had to join the party, so I used the Ride 'Em, Ronnie image and a sentiment from TCP's It's a Western Thing set. Isn't Ronnie a cute lil wrangler?
A few card deets: Ronnie was stamped on Neenah Ivory cardstock in Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then colored in with Copics. All of the papers were sponge inked, as well. The Buckaroo Blue oval layer was pierced and then backstitched by hand with embroidery floss. The suede fringe was originally purchased for a different project but never used. I think it lends a little western authenticity to the wee dude.

This is sooooo cute - I just LOVE that fringe!! Also love how you did the star/ribbon/twine embellie! Ok I need to hit Mike's and look for some fringe now for my Texas cards... :-)

I just had to finally come back and comment on this one. I ADORE this card! I think it is just SO adorable, and everything about it is just perfect. You put just the right amount of "stuff" on it (and your "stuff" is really cool!). Beautiful work!
