Glad you're home, friend. I dreamed of wine last night. I'd say it's a sign...and one you should embrace this weekend.

Dawn Easton

Carole, I'm so happy that you are home and your Mom is doing better! It's always scarey when things happen to our loved ones. I can only imagine the stress you were under the past week.
Hope that your son is doing better today as well.
Your card is SUPER cute! I can't wait to stamp with them!! Love the popped up image. Your design is wonderful!
Don't forget to take care of yourself too ;)

Libby

Oh Carole I'm so sorry about your week!! Glad things are looking up all around though. I certainly did miss you. Love the card too - so cute and cheerful! And even when you're writing about an AWFUL week, you're still able to inject humor, you're so amazing! (fyi I would have known Anthony Geary off the top of my head too - I think I know Laura too? Genie Francis? *sigh* Even with massive preggo-brain I still retain the useless info, but often can't remember why I walked from one room to another in my house!)

Jackie

Wow! I do hope everything evens out for you and that your mom continues to improve. At least you haven't lost your sense of humor - hang in there. Great card and I can't wait to see the new MFT release.

Karen Sullivan

wow - what a week! sorry to hear about your mom - glad things are perking up though. and I thought my week was bad - I think you need an entire day to yourself for stamping! no more guilt trips about the laundry! :)

Reach For The Stars

That is a long week. I am new to your blog and I really like what I see. I look forward to your future work.

I'm glad to hear your mom is doing better. Aren't you glad this week is over so you can do it all again? :) 9 more days!!!

Jody Morrow

I'm sorry you're having a bad week. :( HUGS! If you need to talk, call me anytime. :) DOUBLE HUGS!

Jan Scholl

that Botox thing is something I have never heard of. I get ads in the mail for the vanity part of it all the time. I'd rather buy stamps. My wrinkles are from squinting at 2AM at my creations! (and fuming at my adult kids)

I hope the coming spring is better for you and all of us. Find the yellow in life!

mj albright

Wow!! Busy and stressful I see.
Glad to hear Mom is okay and that Carter got his Botox shots.
Sending (((hugs))) to you sister:)

Nancy Panko

Sorry you had aterrible week. I will have you in my prayers so you have a better week coming up. Glad everyone is ok.

Hugs,
Nancy

Mayberry Magpie

That may be your best card ever. It's perfect in every way.

I've never known you to lock your keys in your car. Since you know I do it all the time, it strangely makes me feel so much more normal knowing it happened to you. Still, sorry it happened in the middle of such a shitty week . . . because it's the kind of thing that when it happens, it just makes you want to dissolve into tears or take a sledgehammer to your windshield. I hope you at least got a good little cry out after the events winded down. If nothing else, it'll cure what ails you.

Mayberry Magpie

Um, that would be WOUND down.

Sharon

Glad to see you back again! Your blog is a breath of fresh air as you tell it "warts'n'all" . Glad to hear Carter's going well with the botox treatments. I think they use them for Parkinson's as well. BTW I don't think having your wrinkles botox-ed does anything to make you look younger, it just looks as though you had botox!!! Much better to spend the money on stamps etc lol!

Hope this week is kinder to you and that your Mother's health continues to improve. Know what you mean about her driving you crazy, mine's the same, sigh...

Cheers,

Sharon

Oh Carole, I'm so sorry you've had SUCH a rotten week. I'm glad that your mom is doing better, and thank goodness for AAA is right, they've saved our butts many a time... I'm buying you a serious cocktail at CHA next week, sounds like you could use one.

--Hugs--

Lesa

I knew something was going on! As your young grasshopper, I religiously stalk your blog daily. I'm thankful you are back! ((hugs)) Sister!

Carolyn King

Huge hugs to you, Carole! So sorry about your awful week--how very scary about your mom. THank goodness she is doing better.
Glad you got your son to the doctors too (next time bribe them for the extra botox--snort)
You are so funny!

Love ya!

Lisa Fraise

sorry to hear about your week. When you reflect on your week, 2 great things did happen. 1) Carter and the botox injections, I have seen great results with these injections, I am a pediatric home health nurse and several of my patients have had these. 2) Stampers Ink, I just love that store, my parent's live in Overland Park, and when I visit that is the store I cannot miss. I think Tonya (owner) is just about one of the nicest people ever!!
Next week will have to be better!!

Elizebeth

I am so sorry you had such a rough week. I am very happy though that you were able to get Carter his injections. I hope things work out much better for you this week!

Tosh
