Ok Carole - thanks for the morning cry! :) Beautiful - I love hearing the inspiration behind everyone's quotes! :)

Granted I'm a sap anyway, but that post got me completely teary! Wow. Patti sounded like an amazing woman, how wonderful that you were able to honor her like this. What a great quote.

How beautiful. What an awesome tribute to an amazing woman.

So sweet!

Okay if I wasn't crying enough about the boys, I'm a babbling mess after reading about patti. You have been very blessed that you had such a trmendous friend that has left her footprint on your soul. We once spoke about our boys and I too agree that there are no small miracles. My son weighed barely more than 1 pound at 12.5 weeks. He is now a larger than life miracle or joy and amazement! {{{Hugs to you}}}. Again, I'm sorry for the loss of such a fantastic woman, but so glad that you had the chance to meet such an amazing person. Cheryl

What an amazing tribute! Your quote is beautiful and I feel honored that you shared that story with us. I was very teary reading as well.

What a loving tribute to your friend, if only each one of us were lucky enough to have a special Patti in our lives. I am sure she is looking down at you and smiling and loving all of your creations, I also sure that she felt just as blessed to have you in her life.
What a beautiful tribute to your friend, she will live in you forever. Thanks for the lovely story.

this is one of the most beautiful posts you have ever posted. To think you honored your friend this way...just gives me cold chills. She seems like a lovely woman. And I am glad that you were able to have her in your life. And even though she is gone, you are able to still share her with all of us, in such a great way!
Thank you!

Carole, this is such a wonderful story! Way to get me crying! ;-)

I also wanted to let you know I tagged you for a Brillante Weblog award because I so enjoy your blog, and you keep me cracking up - well, except for today! Don't worry, I don't expect you to pass the award on, but I wanted you to know I love your blog!
