I hope you're having fun on the MFT Blog hop! You started at Kim's, then hopped through my teammates delicious eye candy, then made your way here from Amazing Amy's, right? Well, from what her blog post said from Tuesday, she was going to show you something W-I-L-D -- did she?! I can't wait to see it!
It's hard to believe, but I have nothing wild for you. Aren't you surprised, in a month where a set like 'Girl's Night Out' is being released?! But I really wanted to focus all my energies on this blog hop for making something special for my sweet little guy, Carter. I created a sign for his room -- check it out!
And here are a couple of close-ups...
and, of course, if there's going to be a Carter set, there HAS to be a toy train!
(I created this on a bare piece of craft plywood, 12" x 4", from Michael's. Carter's name is spelled out using the Bling Bet set heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.)
I used the *ADORABLE* new MFT Presents set, Cuddle Up Carter -- yep, after my Carter! This special stamp set benefits kids like Carter who have Cerebral Palsy, via one of my favorite places in the whole wide world, the EuroPeds intensive therapy clinic in Pontiac, Michigan (a non-profit clinic for kids with CP and other neuro-muscular conditions). I'll give you more details on EuroPeds and how it's helped Carter in a post later on today. For now, I'll just give you the nutshell version: EuroPeds is an important part of Carter's team, and in the very near future, I'm hopeful that thanks to EuroPeds and the rest of Carter's team, he'll be able to stand on his own, as straight and tall as he does in this stamped image. That may not sound like a big deal for most kids, but for us... well, it's huge.
Now, are you ready to hop-a-long to the next stop?! I know my oh-so-talented stamping sister Christina will have something stunning to share with you!
totally adorable Carole!

We had a close call with CP - and were so very fortunate that my daughter's birth trauma did not end up there. I will be very happy to help support the EuroPeds clinic and the good work they do.
