Hey there! Glad you've stopped by for My Favorite Things' January Blog Hop and Shop! If you started at the beginning of the hop at MFT Lady Kim's blog, you should have mosied this way via the amazingly artistic Arlene. If so, you probably need a moment to catch your breath from swooning. If not, you'll definitely want to go back because you don't want to miss a single thing my fantastic design teammates have in store for you. And, if you're interested in winning a little blog hop candy, you'll want to leave comments as you go -- you never know which stop is home to the secret blog candy hostess!
As for me, I'm showing off the new Clearly Sentimental About Time set (which is also this month's Triple Scoop Set). Few things communicate better than a well-chosen word delivered at the right time, which is why I love this thoughtful, elegant line of stamps.
Isn't that such a profound statement? Wish I'd said it instead of ol' Theophrastus! (Don't know who he is? That's okay, neither did I. But according to Wikipedia, he was successor to Aristotle in the Peripatetic School. So there you go. Learn something new every day, don't you?) I used the Game Night Spinner Die-Namic to fashion a clock, with hot pink adhesive gems to mark where the numerals would ordinarily go (the gems were a Christmas surprise from my sweet friend and fellow MFT'er Michele, whom you will visit later in the hop. Thanks, M! I love 'em!).
I've had to step it up a notch now that I'm playing with the 'big girls' again -- they're kind of fancy and do a lot of inner card decoration, you know. I'm still new at this, so be gentle...
The image I used is the Take Time à la mode. I created the scalloped ruffle accent using the Jumbo Scallop Die-Namic.
Ready for your next stop on the hop? Then get going to the bedazzling Barbara's blog for some big-time beauty!

I love how you used the rhinestones in place of numbers for your clock. I have been wanting to make a peace sign clock for my daughter's room, I think I may have to lift your idea to finish it.
