It's such a beautiful card, Carole. I'm so sorry you needed a sympathy card though. You've had a really rough several weeks. I'm so sorry.

Terri Moore

Pretty card. I am sorry you had to make a sympathy card though. I am also so sorry to hear about all bad things that have happened to people in your life the last couple of weeks especially your mothers passing. I agree there does seem to be a lot of suffering going on in the world right now. You will be in my thoughts.

Becky Carafa

Too funny we made similar cards! I'm sorry that your life has had some sorrow lately, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Heartfelt hugs to you, Carole. I'm sorry there is so much loss around you right now and wish you both strength and comfort (and the same for the families you wrote about today). Beautiful card and awesome CASE of Jen!

Betty

Carole, this wonderful! Great colors and details. Awesome CASE card. Love the textures on the die cut leaves.

Jody Morrow

That is gorgeous. I love the color combo and it is so fresh and pretty!

Your card is beautiful Carole and I am sure will be greatly appreciated. You've been on my mind recently - losing a parent is so difficult and I was thinking of you this week as the one-year anniversary of my Dad's passing was on Wednesday. It was a harder day than I anticipated. I will tell you that I think it just doesn't get easier. I miss my Dad every single day. But, I am finding it a little easier to remember those happy memories and find myself feeling an overall sense of happiness (as opposed to just that mind-numbing sadness) more often now when I think of him. Even now though, a year later, I have my days. Just wanted you to know you're not alone. Oh, and I've been meaning to tell you that I didn't overlook sending you a card - I had every intention to, but for some reason now I just seem to put off those sympathy cards (not wanting to think about it? avoidance? I'm sure there's a huge profit for some therapist in there somewhere...) to the point that it's too late to send them and then it's just uncomfortable. So I don't. Yeah, that's me...Ms. Smooth. LOL. Ok, anyway. Hugs to you and yours.

No words, just {{{hugs}}}.

Carole your card is beautiful, Jen will be proud :o) This time of year is always hard for our family as well, I lost my cousin who was like a big brother to me 25 years ago and I still think of him often and miss him so I can't even imagine what it's like to lose a parent. You and your fmaily and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. {HUGS}

Carole, this card is GORGEOUS. The colors are stunning and it shows just how versatile you are. So sorry about all the pain going on around you. LIfe is so precious.
I hope to be in Claremore soon. I'll be in touch if I can make it happen! In the meantime, remember doorways are the safest place to be during an earthquake!

Jodi

This is SO beautiful my sweet friend! I just ADORE these flowers and the pop of the gingham ribbon!!

Denise M.

Have to say, lately it does seem like there's a lot of suffering and hardship. I was sorry to hear about your mom and I'm sorry about your your friend. :( Your sympathy card though is BEAUTIFUL! Love the classy colors!

Carolyn King

lots of hugs for you, my friend!

Mary

Carole, I can identify with your friend. I lost my father, 86 WW2 vet, to a massive stroke. He, too, was taking care of my mom who has ahlzeimers. Your friend will need you because I don't think I will have time to grieve my dad until my mom is gone. It's hard. Sorry for your other friend, too. There is a lot of sadness out there, but God will see us through.

Mary
