Ready for a Mojo Monday that will be a sight for sore eyes? Because it's the last Monday of the month, you have a choice with this week's sketch - round or square:
Being the square that I am, here's what I came up with...
I've had so much fun as i {heart} paper's October Guest Designer - it's given me the opportunity to play with such a variety of stamp manufacturers and product. For example, the above image and sentiments are from Lawn Fawn's Clear to See set. As a longtime 'Girl Who Wears Glasses' (regardless of whether men make passes at her), I was intstantly drawn to this cute set.
I kept the card pretty simple to keep the emphasis on the images, but I couldn't resist playing off the vision-theme by throwing in the ViewMaster patterned paper from Echo Park's Note to Self 6"x6" pad. I stamped out the image and sentiments onto graph paper (also from Note to Self) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then went over the glasses with a black Sakura Glaze pen. I added a coat of Inkssentials Glossy Accents to the lenses for some extra dimension. Popped a few layers up on Dimensional Dots, then topped it off with a felt flower from Prima (a gift from my sweet friend Michele) and zebra striped brad, and wa-la!
Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for all of the details on how to play along with this week's sketch, and for more takes on this week's sketch, be sure to visit my fellow Mojo Makers:

What a fun card, Carole! Took me back to the 6th grade when I got my first pair of glasses that had a shape very similar to the one on your card! The Glossy Accents is such a great detail!
