... because I've officially posted twice in two days, now. And it's not a full moon or the Apocalypse! (<-- as far as I know, at least. Speaking of which, did you watch 'The Leftovers' on HBO this past summer? Super, super good and thought provoking show about those who remain after 2% of the world's population suddenly disappear. Based on the book by one of my favorite authors, Tom Perotta, who also wrote the excellent novel-turned-into-a-movie, 'Election.' If you haven't tuned into 'The Leftovers' yet, check it out on HBOGo. I recommend!)
As I mentioned yesterday, I wanted to pull out my dusty Copics and see if I still knew what to do with them. I'm a little rusty, but this new little Pure Innocence image ('Just the Way You Are') from MFT sure was fun to color...
I wanted her tee-shirt to have a fun little graphic, so I 'silkscreened' the star stamp from the 'Geek is Chic' set on to her top. The sketch is the current MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge, #193.
I want some fun rainbow socks like that, don't you? If only I could find my old Mork & Mindy suspenders I used to wear to school back in the late 70's. I was big into rainbows and unicorns, back in the day. Remember these shirts?
Oh Carole, thanks for the smile today. I really needed it. You still know how to use the copics and the card looks fabulous.
