*sniff, sniff* Smells like paper, glue, and leftover teen spirit...
But isn't it CUTE?! Jen's Sketch For You To Try this week is perfect for those sets with lots of little images you couldn't resist, but haven't known quite what to do with. Like this adorable set by Gel-a-Tins that I had my eye on forever, received for Christmas, but had yet to get inky. I flipped Jen's sketch on its side to give myself a little breathing space -- I wanted layers and to use the coffee-themed patterned paper, but it was looking squeezed and busy when oriented vertically. A little rotation cured my claustrophobia and I love the results. I can't wait to take a look at what Shannan, Susan and Amy
have done with this, not to mention Jen and her Guest Designer, Joanne, whose samples are featured on Jen's blog, i{heart}2stamp.
Get good & caffeinated then make some time to play with this fun sketch yourself! When you upload to your SCS gallery, be sure to use the keyword "SFYTT" so we can check you out. And now, my own cuppa Joe needs a warm-up...
