I was so excited when Cambria (of Our Craft Lounge fame) invited me to be a part of Joy Kennedy's surprise birthday celebration! You might know Joy as half of the Joy & Daisy duo who make up eclectic Paperie or as one of the OCL powerhouses. She is a great friend and cheerleader to all stampers, and if you're lucky enough to meet her in person, you'll recognize her by her big, beautiful smile. She definitely lives up to her name!
Anywho, let's get my part of this party started, shall we? OCL has created a stamp set *exclusively* for eclectic Paperie customers called Hangin' Loose with Kona. I decided to depict Kona hanging ten six for my birthday tribute to Miss Joy: Isn't he a cute lil dude? Be sure to go to Cambria's blog to find links to lots of other celebrators, and don't forget to stop by Joy's and wish her a happy birthday!
Card details: digi-image was colored in with Copic markers, and the waves were made foamy via Liquid Applique. Bella Baubles, Nestabilites, skinny grosgrain, and Cosmo Cricket's Snorkel line dressed things up. The sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch.
I'll give you a Master Cleanse Update tomorrow. I don't want to ruin Joy's party talking about certain bodily functions. Can't you just hear all the other attendees? "It was great until Carole Burrage showed up and started rattling on about that colon blow she's doing..."
